Make Your Own Strawberry Rocks
For this activity, you’ll be painting the rocks you collected on your walk, so skip ahead to the MOVE activity first.

Newsprint, a recycled paper bag, or other mess-catcher; toothpick or cotton swab (optional)
Grown-Ups
Wash and dry the rocks and put them out on a sheet of newsprint or other mess-catcher with red, green, black, and yellow paint. Add an optional toothpick or cotton swab to make the small dots.
Kids
Paint your rocks to look like strawberries! Just remember not to snack on them when you’re done. (And if you’re not a fan of strawberries, paint your rocks any way you like.)
